Charles says, ‘As a passionate advocate for high-quality education in all forms and throughout life, I am delighted to be joining ISI at this pivotal time in its development. I am looking forward to working with the team at ISI, including Kate Richards, ISI’s Chief Inspector, to ensure that the inspection services we offer play a full part in supporting the delivery and development of high-quality education in the independent sector.’
Christine Swabey, Chair of ISI, commented, ‘We are very pleased and excited to welcome Charles as ISI’s new CEO. His appointment completes important changes to the management of ISI, which the Board initiated some months ago. The changes support our mission to deliver a high-quality, independent inspection service, that is valued equally by the schools, pupils and parents, and supports the delivery of educational excellence.’
