Response to Government 'Plan B' announcement
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Wednesday of the adoption of ‘Plan B’, inspection arrangements for the last week of this term and the first week of the spring term have been updated.
During these two weeks routine regulatory compliance inspections (RCIs) and education quality inspections (EQIs) will not take place. However, a small number of inspections that have been commissioned by the Department for Education as a result of urgent concerns, for example additional inspections, progress monitoring visits and brought-forward inspections, will continue as scheduled.
The same approach will be adopted for the week of the 3rd January 2022. Routine inspection will therefore resume from the 10th January 2022.
We will contact all schools again in the week of the 3rd January 2022 to reiterate inspection arrangements for the coming term.
If you have any questions, please get in touch on email@example.com.
Our Covid-19 protocol for inspection remains unchanged and is available on the portal.
