Independent School standards guidance
Detailed guidance has been issued by the DfE for independent schools about the meaning of the Independent School Standards. Much of the focus in the guidance is on expectations in relation to the Standards with regard to curriculum and teaching, and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development (parts one and two of the Standards) but all sections will be helpful reading. Key messages will be incorporated into ISI’s documentation for Inspectors in time for the next academic year.
