Safeguarding suggestions for Remote Teaching
We have put together a list of safeguarding pointers for schools to consider for remote teaching. We have put this together in the spirit of helping schools during this difficult time. The list is not a reflection of expectations from ISI or the DfE, nor is it exhaustive. It is not an inspection tool. Specific questions can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The DfE has issued interim guidance for schools about safeguarding during this period of national emergency and it can be accessed here. It includes a section on ‘Children and online safety away from school and college’. Separate guidance on providing education remotely has been issued by the DfE.
