SCHOOL'S RESPONSE TO THE REPORT
Since the inspection, the Association* has considered the school's response to the findings and recommendations of the report, in the light of advice from ISI. The Association is satisfied with the school's actions in response to the recommendations and that the school meets its requirements. The DfES has similarly confirmed that it is satisfied with the steps taken to meet the regulatory requirements. The recommendations in the report and any reference to non-compliance with regulatory requirements should be read in this context.

Explanatory Note
Every school in the Independent Schools Council is accredited to one of the five Associations of heads. Each association requires its member school to respond to the report and its recommendations and confirms whether it accepts that the school has made any improvements needed in order to comply. In a few cases this requires a further visit by ISI. In most cases such a visit is not needed.

St Ambrose Preparatory School had an accreditation inspection to one of the ISC Associations* which was carried out in order to establish whether the school met the accreditation requirements.

The school has since been accredited to the ISC.
