The fee or honorarium team inspectors are paid is based on their status when confirming an inspection. If you are confirmed on an inspection whilst you are still serving you will be paid the honorarium (£100.00) even if you are retired by the time the inspection takes place. This still applies even if you have informed ISI that you will be retired when the inspection takes place. Team inspectors are only paid the non-serving fee once they are confirmed on an inspection as a non-serving inspector. Fees for inspection are agreed in advance in writing.
